GIO midtown

Miami, Florida

Architect | bKL

Description:
Occupying an entire city block in Midtown Miami, this podium-based mixed-use development integrates street-level retail, amenity spaces within the podium—including a pool deck, fitness center, and clubhouse—and residential units above.

Goal:
The objective was to communicate the tower’s scale, its relationship to the urban fabric of Midtown Miami, and the quality of its amenity and residential spaces—resulting in a comprehensive visual case study and luxury residential photography for the developer, architect, and editorial use.

Approach:
I secured exclusive rooftop access and utilized my FAA Part 107 drone certification to capture elevated perspectives that emphasize the building’s scale and luxury amenities. Production was structured in phases: exterior hero images were delivered first to support immediate marketing needs, followed by a return visit to photograph completed amenities and styled model residences over a focused three-day shoot. This phased approach ensured a cohesive body of work that transitions seamlessly from urban context to interior detail.
