Description:
Originally built in 1965, this Long Island ranch home was renovated for a family of four, with the pool serving as a defining feature of the property.
Goal:
The objective was to document the completed renovation for inclusion in the architect’s portfolio.
Approach:
I first photographed the house in February, when the pool was closed, and returned in June to capture the pool from both interior and exterior vantage points. The final compositions combine imagery from both visits, retaining the winter tree lines to preserve light quality while presenting the pool in use. Interiors were staged in collaboration with a stylist to ensure each space was prepared for clean, composition-driven frames.
